April 17 • All new motors shipped overseas will now have the gearcase assembly packed separate from the motor to avoid damage. Gear oil capacity 200ml - DO NOT OVERFILL

April 16 • 2009 World OSY.400 Championship has been allocated to Poland.

April 16 • New supply of Yamato 302 motors have now arrived. Serial numbers from 22,400

March 5 • A further supply of Yamato 302 motors left the factory today.

December 29 • Our supply of 2008 spec Yamato 302 motors have now arrived from the factory with serial numbers from 22,000+. Only minor production changes including new rubber Spark Plug Caps. Our entire supply is now sold, so we have placed a further order for delivery in early April.

November 25 • UIM News: World OSY.400 Speed Record frozen by the UIM - at last! Minimum weight in OSY.400 to be 180kg including driver and boat. Some changes to picklefork dimensions. Yamato propeller shaft may be turned down or replaced to fit any propeller.

November 19 • The World OSY.400 Championship will be held at Berlin-Grunau on 16/17 August. The new European Formula OSY series is scheduled for San Nazzaro, Italy 28/29 June, Komano, Slovakia 2/3 August and the final at Jedovnice, Czech Rep. on 6/7 September.

November 10 • The UIM have finally decided to freeze the World OSY.400 Speed Record currently held by Bob Wartinger. But why has it taken so long?

November 5 • Sean Barnard will be displaying his World OSY.400 Championship winning outfit at the London Boat Show being staged at Earls Court 1-9 December. More information at www.earlscourtboatshow.com. All sections of motorboat racing will be represented, but the British federation and their sub-committee, the Circuit Race Committee, decided not to support this event.

August 26 •There is proposal from Germany to reduce the minimum weight in OSY.400 to 160 kilos including driver. If you are in agreement with this please lobby your UIM delegate to support this at the Comisport Meeting at the UIM General Assembly in November. Contact us for full details of the proposal.

August 16 • 2008 World OSY.400 Championship will be staged at Berlin-Grunau, considered by many to be one of the most difficult race circuits in Europe. Many drivers are unhappy with this venue and are seeking an alternative location.

July 14 • Diego Bacchiega (Italy) wins a new Yamato 302 motor in our free draw at the World OSY.400 Championship at Oulton Broad.

June 11 • 2008 World OSY.400 Championship has be allocated to Germany. The European new Formula OSY series will be staged in Czech Republic, Italy and Slovakia (Komano).

June 8 • Round 3 of the national OSY.400 championship scheduled for Kingsbury Water Park on September 1/2 will have FREE entry !!

April 11 - FREE YAMATO MOTOR DRAW Yamato UK & the Yamato Motor Co. have donated a new Yamato 302 motor to be entered in a FREE DRAW open to all 'bona-fide' competitors at the 2007 World OSY.400 Championships at Oulton Broad.

March 14 - YAMATO 302 PRODUCTION CHANGE The 2007 spec. motors come with the above running production change to the cavitation plate plus other minor 'cosmetic' alterations. The plate is extended over the exhaust outlet by 10mm on motors with serial numbers 19,000 onwards. Approved by the UIM - Homologation No. 00475.

March 9 • Yamato Europe will be one of the sponsors of the 2007 World OSY.400 Championship at Oulton Broad - major announcement regarding our involvement to follow, and one of the competitors will be going home with a new Yamato motor !!

March 4 • We are pleased to announce that there are NO price increases on Yamato parts and motors for 2007.

March 3 • Motors arrive Southampton docks, delivered to us on March 13.
Fabruary 9 • Motors loaded on container ship, departs Japan on February 10.
January 30 • Our new supply of 2007 spec motors leave factory.
